I-Lements hails from the Caribbean island of Saint-Martin and is strongly influenced by the Rastafari movement. The artist, who now lives in France, has made a name for himself on the international reggae scene since his debut album, "Justice" (2016), with English-language songs and a great deal of "consciousness."

His third album, "As It Is," is now released, heavily influenced by introspection, spirituality, and solemnity, musically an intersection of modern roots and rub-a-dub. French musicians helped underscore the singer's energy and sense of mission in the studio: Kubix, Saymon, Boris and Smart of Danakil, and Manjul, a prominent group. A deeply personal work with homage to his Caribbean roots, featuring state-of-the-art sound design.
